Omniki.Survey conducted a survey among the Indonesian citizens in the wake of the elections. Most of the respondents supported Prabowo Subianto, followed by Anies Baswegan and Ganjar Pranovo.
The data reflects a dynamic electoral landscape in the lead-up to the Indonesian presidential elections. Prabowo Subianto's lead has narrowed, with his rating dipping by 1.7% to 27.3%. Anies Baswedan, on the other hand, has gained traction, increasing his rating by 1.5% to 16.2%. Ganjar Pranowo saw a slight decline in his rating by 1.1%, settling at 9%. The data also reveals a slight decrease in the percentage of those who would not participate in elections and a marginal uptick in those intending to spoil the ballot. Most notably, there is a 2.3% rise in respondents who found it difficult to answer, indicating growing voter indecision.
82.4% of the population are well aware of the elections, while 6.1% have heard about them for the first time while participating in our survey. 11.5% of Indonesians have found the question difficult to answer.
75.9% of respondents were certain they would participate in the upcoming presidential elections. 10% of the group argued that they found the question difficult to answer, whilst 14.1% argued that most likely they are not going to take part in the elections.
The survey has been conducted since October 11, 2022. The latest update was on February 9, 2024. The study was carried out using a river-sampling method through a streaming sample among internet users over the age of 18. The sample size is 1,200 respondents. It has been weighted in accordance with the socio-demographic parameters of the internet audience.
